Coming soon to a photo near you…

Coal Nelson just posted about the new SL release’s snapshot updates. The photo she posted showing off the new depth feature in snapshot preview has excited me very much. I can’t wait to get in sometime this weekend and try it out.

Speaking of the snapshot tool, one option I’ve constantly wanted is a rapid snapshot tool to take 4 or 5 photos one right after another and then you can take the best of them from it. Plus, it’d be really nice to be able to be able to take photos in mouselook without having to press “Ctrl `” and have to save it to one’s hard drive. What if a person wants to upload it to Snapzilla instead? Well, tough. Maybe there is a way to send files from your hard drive to your SZ account without using the send postcard option, but it is unknown to me.

Another option that would be nice would be the ability to focus on the sky and not just ground or prims. Many times I’ve want to take a photo of the sun and had to build a cube, move it to approxamately where I want it, focus on that prim, delete it, and then take a photo. It’s a pain in the ass really.
